    Bret R. Smith's business ethics and principles were forged as a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy and as a pilot at the controls of a B-1 Lancer.  Bret understands the concepts of service, integrity, and professionalism, and believes that such ideals are as important in the courtroom as they are in the cockpit.  Bret served for 12 years in the military, attaining the rank of Major.  While in the Air Force, Bret was an instructor pilot in the B-1, and logged time in various aircraft including the T-37, AT-38, T-38, and E-8.  Today, Bret remains a rated commercial pilot.
